Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Mandie Nickerson, trading as Harmony by Design Music (“I”, “me”), collects through mandienickerson.com and The Artist’s Journey, and what I do with it.
What I collect
- Purchase details. Your name, email address and billing details when you buy. Card details are entered directly with Stripe, my payment processor. I never see or store your full card number.
- Account and journal content. Your sign-in details and anything you write in the digital companion journal. Your journal entries are private to you.
- Group calls. Your name and email so I can send Zoom invitations. Calls are hosted on Zoom under Zoom’s own privacy policy.
- Analytics. If you allow it, Google Analytics records anonymous usage such as pages viewed, songs played and the device type. Nothing is set until you choose.
- Email. Anything you send me at harmony@essentials4balance.com.
How I use it
- To deliver the songs, the journal and the live calls you paid for.
- To send receipts, access details and call reminders.
- To answer your questions and process refunds.
- To understand how the site is used, if you have allowed analytics.
I do not sell or rent your personal information, and I do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who I share it with
Only the services that make the product work: Stripe (payments), Google Analytics (with your consent), Zoom (live calls), and my email and hosting providers. Each processes data under its own privacy terms.
Cookies
The site sets no analytics cookies unless you choose “Allow analytics”. Stripe sets cookies on the checkout page to prevent fraud. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer.
How long I keep it
Purchase records are kept as long as tax law requires. Account and journal content is kept while your account is active and deleted on request.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent, by emailing harmony@essentials4balance.com. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California) you may have additional rights, and you may contact your local data protection authority.
Children
The Artist’s Journey is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it.
